Data protection
Your customers' data stays in the EU. Full stop.
Most support tools are American. Verza is built so you can skip that conversation with your lawyer.
Hosted on European infrastructure
Verza runs on servers in the EU with European providers. The database, the files, the backups — all of it inside the union. Not a region setting at a US cloud giant, but a supply chain without US companies.
Why it matters: Schrems II and the CLOUD Act
US companies are subject to US legislation such as the CLOUD Act, wherever their servers are. Since the Schrems II ruling, transfers to the US are a legal gray zone every data controller has to defend on their own. The easiest way to win that argument is to never have to make it.
EU data processing agreement
You get a DPA in English or Swedish, with a sub-processor list you can actually read out to your customers. No references to a US parent company's standard terms.
Your data is yours
Full export of conversations, contacts and articles whenever you want. Close your account and your data is deleted — confirmed, not just promised.
